Two men sustained serious injuries in separate incidents during Leeds United’s promotion celebration parade, police confirmed on Monday.

A 34-year-old man suffered serious head injuries following an assault outside Browns on The Headrow between 14:08 BST and 14:19 BST. He was taken to hospital, where he remains under medical care. Authorities stated that while his injuries are serious, they are not believed to be life-threatening.

In a separate incident, a 23-year-old man was seriously injured after falling from a tree outside the Cuthbert Brodrick pub in Millennium Square at approximately 16:00 BST. He remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

West Yorkshire Police said investigations are ongoing in both cases. Detectives are appealing for any witnesses or individuals with information to come forward as they continue their inquiries into the incidents that marred an otherwise jubilant day for the city.
